With the launch of the 2024 F3 season just days away, here is everything that you need to know ahead of the new campaign.
Following Gabriel Bortoleto’s dominance in 2023, this season now brings fresh questions with Williams junior, Luke Browning tipped as early favourite ahead of Dino Beganovic and other experienced drivers.
Arvid Lindblad meanwhile heads a host of rookies who will look to follow in Bortoleto’s footstep in their maiden F3 campaigns.

Driver Switches
- Gabriele Mini left Hitech GP to join PREMA after Zak O’Sullivan graduated to F2 with ART GP.
- Oliver Goethe and Sebastian Montoya left Trident and Hitech GP to join Campos to replace Pepe Marti – who has graduated to F2 – and Hugh Barter. Mari Boya has switchd to Campos from MP Motorsport to replace Christian Mansell who has moved to ART GP to replace Kaylen Frederick.
- Sophia Floersch has left PHM AIX Racing to sign for Van Amersfoort Racing (VAR) in place of Caio Collet, who has switched to Indy NXT.
- Nikita Bedrin has switched from Jenzer to PHM AIX Racing to replace Roberto Faria who has left the category.
- Joshua Dufek has joined PHM AIX Racing for a full season, having previously drove for Campos in the final round of 2023 season.
- Piotr Wisnicki will drive for Rodin this season after he previously drove for PHM AIX Racing in the opening four rounds of 2023 season.
Driver Changes
- Arvid Lindblad has stepped up from Italian F4 to replace Paul Aron at PREMA, with Aron having graduated to F2 with Hitech GP.
- Sami Meguetounif has stepped up from FRECA to replace reigning champion – Gabriel Bortoleto at Trident due to Bortoleto not being permitted to continue in F3, whilst Santiago Ramos has replaced Goethe following the German’s switch to Campos.
- Tim Tramnitz has graduated from FRECA to replace Franco Colapinto at MP Motorsport following the Argentinean’s move into F2.
- Kacper Sztuka has joined MP Motorsport following Boya’s switch to Campos, whilst Alex Dunne replaces Jonny Edgar who has left the category to race in European Le Mans.
- Martinius Stenshorne has graduted from FRECA and joined Hitech GP as Mini’s replacement after the Italian left to join PREMA.
- Cian Shields has graduated from EuroFormula to replace Montoya at Hitech GP.
- Charlie Wurz has stepped up from EuroFormula to replace Bedrin at Jenzer following the Russian’s move to PHM AIX Racing
- Max Esterson and Matias Zagazeta has graduated from GB3 and FRECA to replace Taylor Barnard and Alejandro Garcia respectively. Barnard has graduated to F2 whilst Garcia joined Asian Le Mans.
- 2023 EuroFormula champion, Noel Leon has replaced Rafael Villagomez following the Mexican’s graduation into F2.
- Laurens van Hoepen has moved up from FRECA to replace Gregoire Saucy at ART GP following the Swiss driver’s departure to race in World Endurance Championship.
- Tasanapol Inthraphuvasak has graduated from Eurocup-3 to replace Floersch at PHM AIX Racing.
- 2023 GB3 champion Callum Voisin graduated into the category with Rodin following Oliver Gray’s move into European Le Mans.
- Joseph Loake has graduated from GB3 to join Rodin as Ido Cohen’s replacement after the Israeli driver left the category.

- Imola has returned to the calendar after it was cancelled during the 2023 season for safety reasons, following floodings in the Emilia Romagna region of Italy.
Rule Changes
- Due to various race distances being shortened in 2023 due to safety concerns surrounding the medium tyre, Pirelli will introduce a new medium tyre compound for 2024 season.
- If driver deemed at fault for a red flag in Qualifying, their fastest lap time will be deleted and they will be banned from participating in the remainder of the session.
