Noel León has graduated to F3 for the 2024 F3 Season with Van Amersfoort Racing.
León’s move to F3 comes after he drove for Van Amersfoort Racing (VAR) in the F3 post-season test and Macau Grand Prix, where he finished 19th in the main race with VAR impressed enough to sign him for F3 next season.
The 18 year-old Mexian also won the 2023 EuroFormula title this season in which he took five poles, seven wins and nine further podium finishes.
“Being part of Van Amersfoort Racing has been a joy so far,” commented León. “We did the post-season tests and Macau together which was a positive experience and great preparation for the upcoming season. I cannot wait for the season to start!”
VAR Team Principal, Frits van Amersfoort is “delighted” to sign León who has also won NACAM F4, F4 US and NASCAR Challenge Series titles.
