Red Bull junior, Kacper Sztuka has joined MP Motorsport for 2024 F3 season.
Sztuka’s graduation to F3 comes after he won the 2023 Italian F4 title in his third season within the series, as he took nine poles and wins apieces plus a further three podiums to claim the crown ahead of McLaren junior, Ugo Ugochukwu.
“I’m extremely happy to be able to step up to FIA F3 with MP Motorsport”, commented Sztuka who drove for the team in the F3 post-season test held at Imola, Italy.
Sztuka went on to praise MP Motorsport for their impressive record in F3 with the following drivers having progressed up the racing ladder: Liam Lawson, Richard Verschoor, Bent Viscaal, Victor Martins, Kush Maini and Franco Colapinto.
“The team has a strong pedigree in the series, which will help me with a smooth transition from F4 to F3. I loved the car when I drove it in the Imola test, and can’t wait to step back into it for more testing and the new season ahead. It’s going to be a huge challenge but I’m up for the task.”
MP Motorsport Team Principal, Sander Dorsman is “really pleased” to sign Sztuka who will partner fellow Red Bull junior, Tim Tramnitz at the team this season, alongside a third driver who will be announced in due course.
Dorsman reflected upon Sztuka’s F4 performances and potential as he continued: “He has had a sensational season in Italian F4, and being invited to join the Red Bull Junior Team was just a reward for what has been a brilliant year.
“He immediately showed his promise in the Imola test, so we are confident that Kacper is ready for a strong debut in FIA F3. The whole team are looking forward to working with both Kacper and Tim during the season.”
Sztuka also won 2023 Formula Winter Series last year and is a two-time champion in Karting with both of his latter titles won in 2014.
