Roundup of the latest Premier League action as teams continued to battle for the title, European qualification and survival.

FA Cup semi-final action saw the weekend action slightly depleted but Arsenal and Liverpool were afforded the opportunity to regain the initiative in the title race, whilst the relegation battle continued to narrow down.

Midweek action meanwhile saw the title fight take another twist whilst one team secured survival and another edged to the brink of official relegation.

Late goals in each half from Leandro Trossard and Martin Odegaard respectively saw Arsenal stay top with a 2-0 win at Wolves.

Second-half goals from Ryan Gravenberch and Diogo Jota saw Liverpool win 3-1 at Fulham to go second, after Trent Alexander-Arnold’s free-kick was cancelled out by Timothy Castagne’s equaliser.

Moussa Diaby and Leon Bailey struck in the second half to complete a 3-1 comeback win for fourth-placed Aston Villa at home to Bournemouth, after Dominic Solanke had put the Cherries ahead from the penalty spot.

Michael Olise and Eberechi Eze both scored early then provided assists for Jean-Philippe Mateta’s brace following Emerson Palmieri’s own-goal, as Crystal Palace thrashed West Ham 5-2 at Selhurst Park despite Michail Antonio’s effort and Dean Henderson’s own-goal denying them a clean sheet.

Clinical goals from Idrissa Gueye and Dwight McNeil saw Everton beat Nottingham Forest 2-0 at Goodison Park to boost their survival hopes, whilst Forrest unleashed their fury at VAR for poor officiating with a post-match rant on X.

Luton missed the chance to move out of the bottom three with a 5-1 home loss to Brentford, as Yoane Wissa’s brace plus goals from Ethan Pinnock, Keane Lewis-Potter and Kevin Schade secured the Bees’ victory despite Luke Berry’s injury-time goal for the Hatters.

Jacob Bruun Larsen, Lorenz Assignon, Lyle Foster and Johann Berg Gudmundsson boosted Burnley’s survival hopes with a 4-1 win at rock-bottom Sheffield United, with Gustavo Hamer having briefly offered hope of a Blades comeback.
