Tottenham Hotspur host Premier League title chasing Arsenal in the North London derby at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
Tottenham will remain fifth regardless of the result, but Arsenal can extend their title lead at the summit to four points with a win before Manchester City play in the teatime kick-off.
Team News
Destiny Udogie is ruled out for the remainder of the season for Tottenham after he suffered a quad injury in training, which required surgery.
Oliver Skipp (knock) is ruled out but Pedro Porro (knock) and Richarlison (knee) are available for selection.
Fraser Forster (foot), Ryan Sessegnon (hamstring) and Manor Solomon (knee) remain absent
Arsenal have no fresh injury concerns to report following their dominant 5-0 win over Chelsea in midweek.
Defender, Jurrien Timber considered doubtful as he nears a first-team return from a serious knee injury, with the club keen to not rush him back before he is fit enough for senior action.
When is Kick-Off?
Tottenham host Arsenal at 2pm BST on Sunday 28 April at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, live on Sky Sports in the UK.
Stat Attack
- Tottenham have won one of their last six league meetings against Arsenal (W1, D1, L4).
- Arsenal have won one of their last nine league visits to Tottenham (W1, D2, L6).
- Spurs have kept one clean sheet in their last six meetings against Arsenal.
- Tottenham have failed to keep a clean sheet in their last 12 league matches at home (W8, L4).
- Six of Leandro Trossard’s 10 league goals for Arsenal this season have been scored on the road.
Prediction
Having had two weeks to regroup after a dreadful away defeat at Newcastle where they lacked much end product and were just awful defensively, Tottenham now need to just knuckle down if want to hunt down and snatch fourth place from Aston Villa.
Arsenal meanwhile absolutely demolished Chelsea in midweek with a dominant display from start to finish, although they arguably could of been out of sight by half-time but their second-half effort shows that they are not going to give up their title ambitions that easily.
Tottenham though will have that advantage in terms of fresh fitness but having not played in two weeks could count against them, especially if Arsenal roll up and quickly dominate the game with their intensity so I do expect this to be a tough scrap but the Gunners should edge this.
Prediction: Tottenham 1-2 Arsenal
Result: Tottenham 2-3 Arsenal
