West Ham stayed third-bottom but only on virtue of goal difference compared to Burnley after they beat the Clarets 3-2 in an East-London thriller, as Callum Wilson, Tomas Soucek and Kyle Walker-Peters scored the decisive goals after Zian Flemming put Burnley ahead before Josh Cullen’s consolatory 97th-minute finish.
Fulham sat 15th and one point above the bottom three after they fell to a 2-0 defeat at Everton through goals from Idrissa Gueye and Michael Keane.

Elsewhere, Matthijs De Ligt’s 96th-minute equaliser rescued Manchester United a 2-2 draw at Tottenham after Mathys Tel and Richarlison turned the game around for the North London club, having fell behind to Bryan Mbeumo’s header.
Iago Thiago’s brace fired Brentford to a 3-1 comeback victory against ten-men Newcastle at home, after Kevin Schade cancelled out Harvey Barnes’ opener whilst Dan Burns was shown a red card for a foul on Dango Ouattara.
Emiliano Buendia, Amadou Onana, Ross Barkley and Donyell Malen found the net as Aston Villa thrashed Bournemouth 4-0 at Villa Park.
Crystal Palace held Brighton to a goalless draw at Selhurst Park.
