Liverpool host Nottingham Forest in a huge Premier League battle affecting both ends of the table.
Victory could put Liverpool as high as third if Chelsea and Sunderland both slip up elsewhere, whilst Forest can climb out of the relegation zone with a win if results elsewhere go in their favour.
Team News
Alisson could return for Liverpool after nearly two months out with a hamstring injury.
Conor Bradley and Florian Wirtz will both be sidelined due to muscle injuries.
Jeremie Frimpong (hamstring) and Giovanni Leoni (ACL) remain absent.
Forest could welcome Callum Hudson-Odoi (leg) and Chris Wood (knee) back into contention.
Angus Gunn (knee), Ola Aina, Douglas Luiz (both hamstring), Dilane Bakwa (unspecified) and Oleksandr Zinchenko (groin) are still ruled out.
When is Kick-Off?
Liverpool host Forest at Anfield on Saturday 22 November at 3pm GMT, untelevised live in the UK.
Stat Attack
- Liverpool have lost one of their last five meetings against Forest (W3, D1, L1).
- Forest have won just one of their eight previous Premier League trips to Liverpool at Anfield (W1, D1, L6).
- Liverpool conceded first in both meetings against Forest last season (D1, L1).
- Liverpool have one clean sheet in their last seven top-flight matches (W2, L5).
- Forest are looking to go three league matches unbeaten for the first time since May.
Prediction
With their title defence now already in a precarious position and not really in a position to lose many more games if want to stay in contention, Liverpool must be more clinical than they were in their 3-0 loss at Manchester City through some moments of sloppy marking which were ruthlessly punished.
Forest meanwhile produced a brilliant recovery to beat Leeds after they conceded from a brief lapse in defensive focus as they looked a more solid and polished attacking team, which will only improve with Hudson-Odoi and Wood set to return but defending will be crucial to a result here though.
Although Forest should produce a good fight initially, Liverpool are the better team and if can stay composed in their final touches, I expect the Reds to claim a home win.
Prediction: Liverpool 2-0 Nottingham Forest
Result: Liverpool 0-3 Nottingham Forest
