Burnley moved onto the cusp of the Championship title whilst the battles for automatic promotion, play-offs and survival continue.
Burnley continue to edge closer towards the title after they were held to a goalless draw away at third-bottom Reading.
Sheffield Utd denied Vincent Kompany’s Clarets the chance to seal the title in this matchweek with a comeback 4-1 home win over Cardiff, courtesy of goals from James McAtee, Jack Robinson, Iliman Ndiaye and Ciaran Clark after Sory Kaba had put the Bluebirds ahead from the penalty spot.
Goals from Carlton Morris and Cauley Woodrow either side of half-time saw Luton stay five points behind Sheffield Utd in third-place, as the Hatters comfortably beat Rotherham at New York Stadium.
Middlesbrough remain fourth after smashing Norwich 5-1 in a rain-soaked clash at the Riverside Stadium, as Cameron Archer scored twice and provided assists for Aaron Ramsey and Chuba Akpom whilst Hayden Hackney also struck for the hosts.
Zian Flemming provided the assist for Tom Bradshaw’s 14th minute opening goal before he added Millwall’s second goal himself in a 2-0 home win over Preston.
Blackburn round out the top six after scrapping their way to a goalless draw at home to Hull.

Down in the relegation zone, Jerry Yates’ second-minute winner saw second-bottom Blackpool defeat rock-bottom Wigan, which moved the Tangerines four points clear of the Latics.
Reading sit in the final relegation spot on goal difference from Cardiff but QPR are only one point clear of the drop following a 3-0 home loss against Coventry City, as Viktor Gyokeres struck either side of Gustavo Hamer’s strike for the Sky Blues who climbed to seventh.
Huddersfield also sit one point clear of the drop after losing 1-0 away to Swansea as Ryan Manning struck a 69th minute winner for the Swans.

Elsewhere, ten-men Sunderland moved to within the top ten after coming from behind to beat Birmingham City 2-1 at home, as Amad Diallo struck a 75th minute winner after Trai Hume cancelled out George Hall’s first-half goal.
Jayson Molumby’s second-half brace saw West Brom come from behind to defeat Stoke City 2-1 at BET365 Stadium, after Jacob Brown had put the Potters ahead in the 30th minute.
Finally, Harry Cornick’s own goal and Joao Pedro’s 54th minute strike saw Watford comfortably defeat Bristol City 2-0 at Vicarage Road.
