This weekend saw the Premier League return from its international break as Liverpool continue to lead the way, despite dropping points for the first time this season.
A late tap-in from Adam Lallana rescued Liverpool a point against Manchester United, who had led from a tap-in of their own from Marcus Rashford in a feisty North-West Derby.
Manchester City however cut their gap to Liverpool down to six points after quick-fire strikes from Gabriel Jesus and David Silva secured victory over Crystal Palace, who round out the top six.

Chelsea went fourth for the first time this season after a Marcos Alonso effort saw them edge past Newcastle, who slid into the relegation zone after Everton dispatched West Ham 2-0 to end a four match losing run.
Arsenal consequently dropped to fifth after losing at Sheffield United to a 30th minute flick in by Lys Mousset from a Jack O’ Connell’s knockdown header.

Aston Villa came from behind to beat Brighton through comeback goals from Jack Grealish and Matt Targett, having been behind to Adam Webster’s 21st minute header before Aaron Mooy was then sent off for a late tackle on Grealish.
Finally, Wolves overcame two controversial VAR decisions to earn a 1-1 draw with Southampton.
