Brentford have signed midfielder, Sam Sene-Richardson from Chatham Town for an undisclosed transfer fee.
Sene-Richardson’s move comes after a successful spell at Chatham where he graduated through their youth academy to make his debut during the 2024-25 season.
The 19-year-old midfielder went on to score 11 goals and create 27 assists last season as Chatham finished fourth in the Isthmian Premier Division, which earned him the Young Player of the Season Award for a second consecutive season plus the Players’ Player of the Season Award.
Sene-Richardson will join Brentford’s B-Team under Head Coach, Sam Saunders who has welcomed the midfielder’s arrival.
“We’re really pleased to have Sam on board. He’s going to bring some experience with playing first-team football.
“His record last season for Chatham, playing lots of minutes, scoring and assisting lots of goals, is something that definitely didn’t go unnoticed.
“He’s going to come here and take the opportunity with both hands. We’re really looking forward to working with Sam.”
