Ashley Charles has signed a new three-year contract at Bromley Football Club until the end of 2028-29 season.
Charles’ renewal comes after two-and-a-half successful years at the club following his arrival from Wealdstone in February 2024, as he helped Bromley achieve a maiden promotion to the EFL just three months later then was part of last season’s promotion and title-winning squad in League Two.
His central-midfield performances and consistency ultimately led the club to reward him with a three-year contract until June 2029 ahead of their first-ever League One campaign.
Speaking in a contract video announcement, the 27-year-old spoke of his pride at the memories that he has made at the club and is keen to achieve more success, despite this summer seeing various departures and new signings at the CopperJax Stadium.
“Favourite things about Bromley would probably be the memories that I’ve created since I’ve been here. I’ve been at Bromley for three years. It’s been amazing to be fair. Very successful.”

“This season we’ve lost a few boys but we’ve gained some new boys and they’ve fit in really well. So the changing room and the spirits at the club is high. Successful, relentless winners.
Across two-and-a-half seasons at Bromley, Charles has produced three goals in 97 appearances.
