Bromley have secured promotion to Sky Bet League One for 2026-27 season after Notts County lost 2-1 at home to Barnet.

Bromley’s goalless draw at home to Cambridge United on Thursday (16 April) meant that Notts had to win their last three matches to deny Andy Woodman’s Ravens a top-three finish and automatic promotion.

Kabongo Tshimanga’s brace amidst an equalising penalty from Jodi Jones however saw Barnet clinch a 2-1 victory over Notts at Meadow Lane, which in-turn secured a first promotion to League One for Bromley in just their second season as an EFL club.

Bromley however can’t secure the title at Salford City on Thursday 23 April but a win would move them five points clear of second-placed MK Dons, after the Dons won 3-1 at Crewe Alexandra to move onto 82 points and just two points behind the Ravens with two games left this season.

The earliest that Bromley would be able to secure the League Two title is Saturday 25 April if MK Dons fail to win at home to relegation-battling Tranmere Rovers at 12:30pm BST, coupled with Cambridge failing to win their next two games because the Us have a game in hand.

Cambridge will play that match in hand at home to Grimsby on Tuesday 23 April at 19:45pm, before they host Barrow on 25 April (3pm), and anything less than six points from both games would likely end their title aspirations if Bromley do indeed take victory at Salford’s Peninsula Stadium,
