Andy Woodman has signed a new three-year contract to stay at Bromley as manager until June 2028.
Since Woodman’s arrival at the Copperjax Community Stadium in March 2021, the Ravens won the FA Trophy in his first full season in 2022, before they claimed a maiden promotion to EFL via National League Play-Offs in 2024 on penalties in a thrilling final against Solihull Moors.
Last season saw Bromley consolidate their EFL status with an impressive 11th-placed finish in League Two, which saw Woodman nominated for Manager of the Year at the EFL Awards, amidst a historic FA Cup run which ended at Newcastle – where Woodman had been a goalkeeping coach previously.
This season has since seen Bromley keep two clean sheets in the league courtesy of a goalless draw at Shrewsbury and home win over Shrewsbury, whilst they claimed their first EFL Cup victory with a stunning win over Ipswich on penalties in the first round.
Woodman’s reign also saw Bromley achieve their record outgoing transfer after Ben Krauhaus secured a move to Brentford, which has since seen him return this summer on loan from the Bees.
