Bromley have signed midfielder, JJ McKiernan from Lincoln City for an undisclosed transfer fee.
McKiernan’s move to the CopperJax Stadium was made after joint head-coaches, Chris Cohen and Tom Shaw decided that he was no longer part of their plans following Michael Skubala’s exit last month.
The 24-year-old consequently has joined Bromley for an undisclosed transfer fee, with terms of his contract unspecified in the club’s statement confirming his arrival in South-East London.
McKiernan began his career at Andover Town before he joined Watford in late 2018 but failed to break through into the senior team following loans at Bohemians then Eastleigh, of which he scored five goals in 45 appearances in the latter loan spell.
July 2023 saw him move to Morecambe where he produced seven goals and one assist in 33 appearances, which led him to join the Imps a year later, but he only managed one goal in 17 appearances in the 2024-25 season.
Skubala consequently loaned him out to Burton Albion in January 2025 for what proved to be an 18-month loan spell, across which he netted three goals and created two assists in 54 appearances across all competitions.
