Coventry City celebrate their promotion to the Premier League in a Championship clash at home to play-off chasing Wrexham.
Coventry are already promoted as champions, but sixth-placed Wrexham can put the final play-off spot in their own hands on the final day and move three points clear of Hull with a win.

Stat Attack

- Wrexham are yet to win a league match away at Coventry (L4).
- Coventry have kept clean sheets in three of their four previous home matches against Wrexham.
- Two of Coventry’s last four matches have ended in 0-0 draws.

Prediction
With promotion and the title now wrapped up, it is hard to predict what Frank Lampard will do as this is the ideal chance to experiment but it’s their last home game of the season and a trophy presentation post-match, so there will be a desire to deliver another win in front of the home crowd.
Bromley manager, Andy Woodman on Thursday night after defeat at Salford however spoke of there being a risk of being “… 5% off it one end and the other team have 10% on it,” following the Ravens’ promotion to League One, so will be interesting to see if that applies to Coventry who have both promotion and title done.
Wrexham though will hope Woodman’s theory proves fruititious because given their poor away record at Coventry, they really need the hosts to suffer that dip if they’re to have that last play-off spot in their own hands on the final day, although they did need a clinical moment to win at Oxford United on Tuesday.
For me personally, this largely rests on Coventry’s line-up but Wrexham nevertheless should have the extra motivation and fight to get the win, purely because they’ve got more to play for than their hosts.
Prediction: Coventry 1-2 Wrexham
