Richarlison’s 43rd-minute close-range goal and Jan Paul van Hecke’s own-goal salvaged a 2-2 draw for third-placed Tottenham at Brighton, after Yankuba Minteh and Yasin Ayari put the Seagulls 2-0 up in the opening 31 minutes.
Bournemouth remain fourth with a goalless draw at home to Newcastle.

Down in the relegation zone, Wolves remained rock-bottom with no points on the board after a 3-1 home loss against Leeds in which Ladislav Krejci put the hosts ahead before Dominic Calvert-Lewin, Anton Stach and Noah Okafor completed Leeds’ comeback.
Jarrod Bowen’s equaliser couldn’t prevent West Ham losing 2-1 at home to Crystal Palace, having fell behind to Jean-Philippe Mateta’s header before Tyrick Mitchell volleyed in a 68th-minute winner for the Eagles.
Matty Cash’s thunderous strike moved Aston Villa up to third-bottom on goal difference with a 1-1 draw at ten-men Sunderland, as Wilson Isidor rescued a point for the hosts from behind after Reinildo Mandava was red carded for retaliation to a foul from Cash.

Elsewhere, first-half goals from Bruno Fernandes and Casemiro saw Manchester United defeat Chelsea despite Trevoh Chalobah’s consolatory goal, although both teams finished a man down following first-half red cards for Utd’s Casemiro and Chelsea’s Robert Sanchez.
Alex Iwobi netted an equaliser then set up Harry Wilson’s strike to fire Fulham in front to an eventual 3-1 victory over West London rivals, Brentford, after Mikkel Damsgaard struck the opener for Keith Andrews’ Bees whilst Ethan Pinnock’s 50th-minute own-goal confirmed Fulham’s victory.
Finally, Jaidon Anthony cancelled out Neco Williams’ second-minute opener as Burnley came from behind to draw 1-1 at home to Nottingham Forest.
