Desire Doue’s brace and assist helped PSG claim a maiden Champions League title with a 5-0 victory over Inter Milan in Munich.
Achraf Hakimi put PSG into a 11th-minute lead from Doue’s pass, before the 19-year-old doubled their lead with a 23rd-minute volley after he met Ousmane Dembele’s cross.
Doue capped off his brace with a 63rd-minute strike via Vitinha’s square-pass from Dembele’s initial backheel flick into the midfielder’s path.
Khvicha Kvaratskhelia and Senny Mayulu’s goals completed a dominant performance as PSG sealed their first Champions League title, albeit with the largest winning margin in the competition’s final.
Speaking to TNT Sports post-match, Vitinha was elated to finally clinch the Champions League with PSG in just their second final in this competition, having lost to Bayern Munich in 2020.
“This means everything. It’s my dream, it’s our dream. It’s incredible.”
PSG will now meet Europa League winners, Tottenham Hotspur in the UEFA Super Cup on Wednesday 13 August at Stadio Friuli, Udine, Italy.

Having won just one major European trophy coming into this final – which saw them beat Rapid Wien to win 1995-96 UEFA Cup Winners’ Cup, PSG began on the front foot as they had done throughout the knockout stage but struggled to find a clinical final touch.
Unlike their electric play in their semi-final wins over Barcelona, Inter’s defence struggled to settle and a mistake up their right allowed Vitinha to set up Doue to play a pass across the box which Hakimi calmly turned in past a helpless Donnarumma unmarked inside the box to put PSG ahead.
Any hope that PSG’s opener would spark Inter into life went unheeded as their right-sided defence once again were caught napping, with Dembele free to burst forward with a cross which Doue chested down and thumped in on the volley to double the French champions’ lead.
Inter eventually settled but their best chance of the first half came from a 23rd minute header by Francesco Acerbi, but the Italian defender had put his attempt over the bar in further frustration for the Serie A runners-up as PSG held out until half-time.
PSG however continued their strong performance in the second half as Kvaratskhelia put a 50th-minute shot wide from Fabian Ruiz’s cutback pass.
Hakimi then missed a chance to seal PSG’s first Champions League title with a low 61st-minute strike wide of the bottom-left corner, having been played forward by Doue on a quick break-away attack.
PSG’s pressure eventually told once more two minutes later as Dembele cleverly played a backheel flick for Vitinha, who calmly teed up Doue to tuck away to wrap up victory with a brace.
If Inter hoped to be spared further humiliation then they were mistaken as shambolic defensive positioning left Dembele free to play Kvaratskhelia through to add PSG’s fourth goal on a clinical evening.
Bradley Barcola missed a chance to further extend PSG’s lead after he tucked a 80th-minute shot wide.
Barcola however turned playmaker just seven minutes later as he produced a return pass for Mayulu to calmly curl into the near-left corner via the post, which left the 18-year-old elated to score in the final and capped a dominant display as PSG became the 24th different team to win the competition.
