Aston Villa have been handed a reunion with Club Brugge in the Round of 16 in 2024-25 UEFA Champions League.

Unai Emery’s Villains suffered defeat away to Club Brugge in the League Phase but now will meet again in the Round of 16, with the Belgian club at home before Villa entertain Club Brugge at Villa Park in the return leg.

Liverpool’s reward for topping the League Phase is a difficult tie against PSG after the French club thrashed Brest in the knockout play-offs by a 10-0 aggregate result.

Should Liverpool and Aston Villa progress past this stage then they will meet in the Quarter-Finals with the first leg in that scenario at Anfield, before Villa host the second leg at Villa Park.

Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal have drawn PSV Eindhoven after the Dutch club needed extra-time to beat Juventus in the knockout play-offs, with PSV at home in the first leg before visiting North London in the return leg.

A trip to either Real Madrid or Atletico Madrid await Arsenal if they reach the Quarter-Finals and if the Gunners reach the semi-finals, they could meet Liverpool or Aston Villa if the latter pair were to face each other in the last eight.

Barcelona will face Benfica with the winner of that tie going on to face Borussia Dortmund or Lille for a place in the semi-finals.

Bayern Munich’s reward for surviving a scare against Celtic is an all-German blockbuster against Bayer Leverkusen, with the winner meeting Feyenoord or Inter Milan for a spot in the semi-finals, where Barcelona, Benfica, Borussia Dortmund or Lille await.

First legs of Round of 16 ties will be played between 4-5 March followed by return legs on 11/12 March 2025.

Quarter-Final ties will take place across 8-9 and 15-16 April, with semi-final ties held across 29-30 April and 6-7 May, ahead of the final in Munich on 31 May.
