Spurs, Man Utd and Rangers Discover Path to 2024-25 Europa League Final

Tottenham Hotspur, Manchester United and Rangers have discovered their paths to the 2024-25 UEFA Europa League Final. 

Ange Postecoglou’s Spurs will face AZ Alkmaar in the Round of 16 with the first leg away followed by the return leg at home due to Tottenham having been seeded for this round.

If Tottenham advance to the Quarter-Finals, they could again face Dutch opposition if Ajax beat 2022 winners, Eintracht Frankfurt.

In the event that Spurs manage to make the semi-finals, they will take on either Viktoria Plzen, Lazio, Bodø/Glimt or last season’s Europa Conference League champions – Olympiacos for a place in the Final.

Ruben Amorim’s Man Utd meanwhile will be in the opposite half of the draw and will meet Real Sociedad in the Round of 16, with the winner of FCSB’s tie against Lyon awaiting in the Quarter-Finals if Utd progress to the last eight.

Should United reach the semi-finals then they will meet either Fenerbahce, Rangers, Roma or Athletic Bilbao in the last four for a spot in the Final.

Rangers have drawn Fenerbahce in their Round of 16 tie with Roma or Athletic Bilbao awaiting in the Quarter-Finals.

First legs of Round of 16 ties will be played between 6 March followed by return legs on 13 March 2025.

Quarter-Final ties will take place across 10 and 17 April, with semi-final ties held across 1 and 8 May, ahead of the Final in Bilbao, Spain, on 21 May.
