Bromley captain, Byron Webster has signed a new contract at the club.
Webster joined Bromley in September 2020 and went on to captain the side to promotion via last season’s National League Play-Off Final, in which he scored the winning penalty at Wembley Stadium against Solihull Moors after an entertaining 2-2 draw.
The 37 year-old subsequently was out of contract but has since signed a new deal which will see him captain the Ravens in their first-ever EFL campaign in League Two, which marks his return to England’s top-four tiers for the first time since a stint at Carlisle in 2019-20 season.
Across his four seasons so far at Bromley, Webster has amassed 11 goals in 152 appearances and helped the club win the 2021-22 FA Trophy with a 1-0 win over Wrexham, courtesy of Michael Cheek’s winner.
Bromley released a short interview with Webster in which he spoke of his confidence at how “ready” the team is to challenge in the fourth tier.

Bromley will be the eighth individual club that Webster has played for in the EFL, with the defender having enjoyed previous play-off success with Yeovil and Millwall in League One Play-Offs during his career.
