DAZN will broadcast National League until the end of 2030-31 season in a seven-year deal.

DAZN replaces TNT Sports who had previously broadcast the fifth-tier for the last 11 seasons, and more recently coverage of National League North and National League South Play-Off Finals too.

TNT’s final National League broadcast came on 6 May 2024, as Braintree defeated Worthing in the National League South Play-Off Final, after Bromley beat Solihull Moors a day earlier in the National League Play-Off Final on penalties.

National League General Manager, Mark Ives has welcomed this new broadcasting contract with DAZN, which will allow fixtures to be broadcast to over 200 countries and across multiple platforms from Desktop to Smart TVs and even game consoles.

“We are incredibly excited about this groundbreaking long-term joint venture with DAZN, one of the biggest players in sports broadcasting and the deal demonstrates the continuing growth and reach of the National League.

“The global exposure DAZN will bring the League and our clubs cannot be overstated. DAZN will be using their vast expertise in sports broadcasting and streaming to allow fans in both the UK and internationally to access live matches across all connected devices like never before.

“We look forward to working very closely with them to enhances the viewing experience for all fans that can’t be at the stadium, which we believe is to the full benefit of our clubs and their supporters.”

Ives also paid tribute to TNT for their coverage of Non League Football as he added: “I would also like to take this opportunity to thank TNT Sports for the wonderful coverage and support they have provided.”

DAZN Group CEO, Shay Segev meanwhile feels that DAZN is in a position “to create destinations for sports fans,” including National League supporters and engage new audiences.

Segev also believes that this deal marks a step in how DAZN are able “to revolutionise the way rights holders increase exposure to domestic and international audiences and develop their sport digitally and commercially.”

Reflecting upon TNT’s loss of the rights, commentator – Adam Summerton took to X to speak of his pride at being involved in their coverage.

Bromley in response paid tribute to Summerton and TNT for their coverage, adding that ‘it was great’ to conclude last season live on TNT at Wembley Stadium on a high note.
