Reigning champions, Chelsea will kick off their title defence at home to Tottenham as 2023-24 Women’s Super League fixtures are released.

Emma Hayes’ Blues will commence their title defence at home to Tottenham on Sunday 1 October in a 5:30pm BST kick-off at Stamford Bridge, live on Sky Sports which has opted not to pit a Premier League fixture against the match with Brentford’s trip to Nottingham Forest set for 2pm that day to avoid a clash.

Last season’s runners-up, Manchester United begin their season away at Aston Villa at 12:30pm in the season-opening match, live on BBC in the lunchtime kick-off.

Arsenal will begin the new campaign at home to Liverpool at the Emirates Stadium as Jonas Eidevall’s Gunners look to challenge for the title, having invested in their attack this summer with fresh signings like Cloe Lacasse and Alessia Russo.

Other highlights include the blockbuster London derbies between Arsenal and Chelsea, which will take place on weekends of 9-10 December and 16-17 March at Emirates Stadium and Stamford Bridge respectively as both teams look to fight for the title.

Arsenal meanwhile will meet Tottenham away in the first North London derby of the season on the weekend of 16-17 December, before hosting Spurs at Emirates Stadium in the return leg on weekend of 2-3 March.

Man Utd will meet Man City at home in the first Manchester derby of the campaign on the weekend of 18-19 November, before heading across to City on weekend of 23-24 March.

The first Merseyside derby of the season between Liverpool and Everton will be played on weekend of 14-15 October, before the return leg is scheduled for weekend of 23-24 March as both fixtures fall during the Men’s international break.

Chelsea have also confirmed that their home clash against Liverpool will be played at Stamford Bridge on weekend of 18-19 November, which means that there shouldn’t be a repeat of last season’s farce when their clash at Kingsmeadow was abandoned just six minutes into the match due to a frozen pitch.

Arsenal have announced that aside from their home fixtures against Liverpool and Tottenham, they will also play Aston Villa, Chelsea and Manchester United at Emirates Stadium on 15 October, 10 December and 18 February respectively.
