Wednesday’s home clash against Southampton at Hillsborough will take place on Friday 4 August live on Sky Sports, in a 8pm BST kick-off.
Sky Sports will air a triple-header on Sunday 6 August as Leicester commence life under Enzo Maresca with a home clash against last season’s losing Play-Off finalists, Coventry City at the King Power Stadium at 12pm in the M69 derby.
Newly relegated Leeds meanwhile host Cardiff at Elland Road in a 2:30pm kick-off that afternoon, before newly promoted Ipswich head to Sunderland in a 5pm kick-off to conclude the opening matchweek of the new season.
Eight ties meanwhile will be played at 3pm on Saturday 5 August with Middlesbrough hosting Millwall at the Riverside Stadium in the stand-out tie, which pits two of last season’s play-off contenders against each other after Gary Rowett’s Lions fell short on a dramatic final day.
Newly-promoted Plymouth meanwhile commence their first Championship campaign since 2009-10 season with a home clash against Neil Warnock’s Huddersfield.
