Bromley meet AFC Wimbledon in a South London derby as both teams look to return to winning ways.
Victory will lift Bromley out of the relegation zone and up to 15th in the table, whilst AFC Wimbledon likewise can go 15th with a win but they can go even higher if claim a three or four-goal winning margin at minimum.
Teams
Jodi Jones could be set to make his debut for Bromley following his deadline day move from Notts County.
Manager, Andy Woodman meanwhile faces a selection condundrum as to whether to stick with the team that lost 5-0 to Leyton Orient or rotate again.
Grant Smith (stress fracture) and Ashley Charles (Cruciate) are still ruled out indefinitely.
AFC Wimbledon have no fresh injury concerns to report following their 4-1 loss at Burton Albion.
Joe Bursik, Freddie Simmons and Dujuan Richards could make their debuts following their deadline-day arrivals from Portsmouth, Brighton and Chelsea respectively.

- Bromley are yet to lose to AFC Wimbledon in an EFL league meeting (W2).
- AFC Wimbledon lost 2-0 in their only previous EFL league visit to Bromley in August 2024 (W1).
- Bromley have conceded 12 goals combined across their last two matches, as they lost 7-2 at Sheffield Wednesday then 5-0 at home to Leyton Orient.
- AFC Wimbledon have kept clean sheets in two of their four league matches so far this season (W1, D1, L2).
Prediction
With their honeymoon period firmly over after two toothless defensive displays and a lack of clinical end product, Bromley are in for a tough season but they really need to knuckle down and tighten up defensively and provide service to the attack, otherwise they’re in a relegation scrap.
There however is a small glimmer of light in that some of the squad were present when they hit this tricky patch at this stage of their first League Two season, so I want them to use that experience to motivate the other players to believe that they can battle their way out of this early-season slump.
AFC Wimbledon meanwhile just capitulated defensively against Burton once in front with the opening goal and were also wasteful with just four of 19 shots on target, so they really need to sort out their defensive issues.
Both teams though are in need of huge reactions and with home advantage, Bromley will have that extra motivation to atone for their two losses on top of it being a local derby and I fancy them to do it if they can tighten up and play to their attack’s strengths.
AFC Wimbledon though will push them all the way and I wouldn’t be surprised if we see a few goals given the fragility within both defences.
