Manchester United remain fourth after letting a two-goal half-time lead slip to draw 2-2 at fifth-placed Tottenham, in which Jadon Sancho and Marcus Rashford put the visitors ahead before Pedro Porro and Son Heung-min struck for the hosts.
Aston Villa remain sixth courtesy of Tyrone Mings’ first-half headed winner against 10th placed Fulham at Villa Park, which put Unai Emery’s Villains just six points off a top-four finish.

Down in the relegation zone, Southampton remain rock-bottom after losing 1-0 at home to Bournemouth in which Marcus Tavernier struck a deflected 50th minute winner for the Cherries.
Second-half goals from Danilo and Morgan Gibbs-White completed a comeback 3-1 win for Nottingham Forest at home to Brighton after Pascal Gross’ own goal cancelled out Facundo Buonanotte’s opener, which lifted the East Midlands club out of the relegation zone and dropped Everton to second-bottom.
Jamie Vardy’s 80th minute strike cancelled out Luis Sinisterra’s 20th minute header as Leicester slipped back into the bottom three, having fought back to draw 1-1 at Leeds in a competitive contest.

Elsewhere, Joel Matip headed in a second-half winner for Liverpool to prevail 2-1 in a comeback away victory at West Ham, after Cody Gakpo cancelled out Lucas Paqueta’s opening goal.
Chelsea suffered a fifth consecutive defeat in all competitions under Frank Lampard’s interim reins as they fell to a 2-0 home loss against Brentford, courtesy of Cesar Azpilicueta’s own goal and Bryan Mbeumo’s clinical strike.
Finally, Joachim Andersen’s third minute own goal and Ruben Neves’ injury-time penalty saw Wolves defeat Crystal Palace 2-0 at Molineux.
