West Ham and Rangers have discovered their opposition in the Round of 16 in 2021-22 UEFA Europa League.
West Ham qualified for this stage of the competition by virtue of winning Group H in the Group Stage, which saw them receive a free pass without needing to participate in the knockout play-offs.

Rangers meanwhile stunned Borussia Dortmund in the knockout play-offs 6-4 on aggregate to advance to this stage of the competition, which will see them face Red Star Belgrade with the first leg being held at Ibrox on Thursday 10 March.
Russia’s Spartak Moscow have been handed a difficult tie against Germany’s RB Leipzig but the Moscow club will have to play their home leg at a neutral venue, following instructions from UEFA prohibiting Russian and Ukrainian teams from playing at home until further notice.
Elsewhere, Barcelona will take on Galatasaray for a place in the Quarter-Finals in their first-ever meeting in this competition, although the Catalonian have lost just one of eight previous clashes against Galatasaray in the Champions League.
France’s Lyon and AS Monaco both advanced as Group A and B winners and have been awarded ties against Portuguese opposition in Porto and Braga respectively.
Atalanta’s reward for comfortably dispatching Olympiacos is a tough central European tie against Bayer Leverkusen.
Real Betis meanwhile knocked out Russia’s Zenit St Petersburg in the knockout play-offs to earn themselves a tricky encounter against Eintracht Frankfurt.
First legs will be played on Thursday 10 March with return legs following seven days later on Thursday 17 March.
