2026-27 Premier League: Week 10 – Arsenal vs Hull

Arsenal look to stay top of the Premier League table against Hull in a huge clash.

Victory or a draw will keep Arsenal top of the table going into the international break, whilst Hull can go seventh if results elsewhere go in their favour.

Team News

Ezri Konsa is a doubt for Arsenal due to fitness management issues, which saw him substituted during their 2-1 Champions League win at Slavia Prague on Wednesday evening.

Max Dowman (suspension) and Bukayo Saka (quad) are sidelined.

Hull will be without Matt Crooks after he picked up his fifth yellow card of the season in their 2-2 draw at home to Ipswich on Halloween.

Eliot Matzo (ACL), Matt Targett (ankle), Lucas Gourna-Douath (calf), Ilyas Ansah (back) and Charlie Hughes (hernia) are still ruled out.

When is Kick-Off?

Arsenal host Hull at Emirates Stadium on Saturday 7 November at 3pm GMT, untelevised live in the UK.

Stat Attack

  • Arsenal are unbeaten in their last nine league meetings against Hull (W8, D1).
  • Hull have won one of their last five Premier League visits to Arsenal (W1, D1, L3)
  • Arsenal have kept clean sheets in three of their last four league matches at home against Hull.
  • Kai Havertz and Myles Lewis-Skelly have both produced more fouls than any other Arsenal player in the league this season (11).
  • Hull’s Mohamed Belloumi has converted three of his six shots on target into goals.

Prediction

Having not been at their best once 2-0 up in Prague on Wednesday night, you have to think that Arsenal had actually simply turned down their gears given that we’re approaching a busy period of fixtures, so I do expect to see a stronger performance here to go into the break with high confidence.

Hull however are no pushovers and fought back to lead Ipswich last weekend after a slow start before conceding soon after they got in front, so they will be right up for this clash because they’ve got nothing to lose despite their poor Premier League record in this fixture.

Although I do expect Hull to get a goal and cause issues throughout, I just think that Arsenal should have just too much quality for the Tigers.

Prediction: Arsenal 2-1 Hull
