2026-27 Premier League: Week 10 – Leeds vs Tottenham

Leeds United host a resurgent Tottenham Hotspur in a mid-table Premier League clash.

Victory could lift Leeds up to seventh if Everton lose on Friday night, whilst Tottenham can climb as high as fifth with a win.

Team News

James Justin and Gabriel Gudmundsson are available for Leeds after recovering from knocks in their 2-0 loss at Bournemouth on Halloween.

Dominic Calvert-Lewin, Anton Stach (both foot), Noah Okafor (adductor) and Joe Rodon (hamstring) face late fitness tests.

Mateo Joseph remains absent with an ACL injury.

Tottenham will welcome midfielder, Rodrigo Bentancur back from his three-match suspension.

Tosin Adarabioyo (calf) and Lucas Bergvall (knee) could too feature, but Savinho (muscle), Mykhailo Mudryk (ankle), Wilson Odobert and Xavi Simons (both ACL) remain sidelined.

When is Kick-Off?

Leeds host Tottenham at Elland Road on Saturday 7 November at 12:30pm GMT, live on TNT Sports 1 in the UK.

Stat Attack

  • Leeds have won just one of their last eight meetings against Tottenham (W1, D1, L6).
  • Tottenham have lost one of their last six Premier League visits to Leeds (W4, D1, L1).
  • Leeds’ Dominic Calvert-Lewin has converted three of his eight shots on target into goals.
  • Sandro Tonali has won more tackles than any other Tottenham player in the Premier League this season, with the Italian having won 12 tackles in nine appearances.

Prediction

Having hit a rut in their last five games during which they’ve grinded out three draws and two frustrating defeats, Leeds just need to reset and be much more clinical than they were at Bournemouth – where they put just one of their 10 shots onto target without scoring.

Tottenham meanwhile have finally clicked with three straight victories but there is no hiding the fact that their goals haven’t exactly been coming from up front, which could be an issue as Roberto De Zerbi can’t rely on the midfield and defence to keep scoring those goals regularly.

Nevertheless, Spurs produced a clinical display to patiently break down a resilient Crystal Palace defence but this will be a tougher test against a well-disciplined Leeds who will be a threat on the transitions, so I expect this to be close and possibly end in a point apiece.

Prediction: Leeds 1-1 Tottenham
