This weekend sees Formula One head to Baku for the 2019 Azerbaijan Grand Prix, as several battles throughout the field continue to build.
After seeing Mercedes’ Lewis Hamilton win F1’s 1000th race last time out in China, Ferrari need to get their title hopes back on track here or risk another season of Mercedes domination in both championships.
The midfield battle meanwhile is too close to call with track characteristics looking set to play a key role throughout the season, whilst Williams will be hoping for some light relief this weekend as they continue to struggle.

Three Pointers
- This track should suit Ferrari with its long straights like in Bahrain but reliability is their Achilles heel.
- Expect McLaren and Alfa Romeo to be battling to be the fourth best team here after their car struggled with the low downforce characteristics of China.
- Sergio Perez has finished on the podium in two of three trips to Azerbaijan so watch out for him and Racing Point this weekend.
