Victory would lift Tottenham out of the relegation zone, whilst Newcastle can move into the top ten with a win.

Omar Marmoush could make his debut for Tottenham after he joined on loan from Manchester City on Thursday (27 August).
James Maddison (shoulder) and Mohammad Kudus (quad) face late fitness checks, whilst Pape Matar Sarr (hamstring), Dejan Kulusevski (knee), Wilson Odobert and Xavi Simons (both ACL) remain sidelined.
Newcastle expect forward, Bazoumana Toure to be available despite having suffered a knock during their 3-2 Carabao Cup victory over West Brom.
William Osula (foot) and Dan Burn (ankle) are also sidelined after the pair missed that match, with Burn having also missed their 2-2 draw against Liverpool in the top flight after he suffered his injury in training after Matthias Jaissle’s press conference last week.
Joelinton (groin) and Tino Livramento (calf) remain absent.

Prediction
Having rebounded from their embarrassing opening defeat at Brentford with a ruthless 5-1 Carabao Cup win at home to Charlton, Tottenham now need to use the confidence and performance as a base to build upon here especially with Savinho and Marmoush adding extra firepower.
Newcastle meanwhile once again found themselves in a scrappy contest as they came from behind to lead West Brom only to concede an equaliser before Harvey Barnes’ winner, but they definitely are showing signs of a gritty team who have goals but are a defensive work in progress.
I am therefore expecting a good scrap and wouldn’t be surprised if this is a high-scoring draw.
