Grant Rejoins Bromley on Loan

Defender, Kamarl Grant has rejoined Bromley on a season-long loan from Millwall.

Grant previously enjoyed a combined 15-month loan at Bromley from February 2024 – May 2025 across two separate spells in that period, during which he helped the Ravens claim promotion to the EFL in May 2024, then consolidated their League Two status the following season with a 11th-placed finish.

Bromley have now been able to lure him back on loan for their first season in League One after Millwall opted to initially keep him at The Den last season, before he was loaned out to Blackpool in January where he only made three appearances.

The 23-year-old will wear the number 21 shirt this season and his arrival boosts Andy Woodman’s defensive options, after he admitted that the team needs defensive work after a 7-0 friendly loss to QPR last night.

“We haven’t done any defensive work as you can probably see cos we just haven’t had the bodies in the building.

“And um, you know, that’s been tough. So, you can guess what we’ll be doing all this week prepping. And I think it’s one of those that just gives us a little reminder of if you’re not right in every department and every sort of situation, you’re going to get undone, and it’ll be no different in League One, trust me.”

Across his previous loan stints at Bromley, Grant scored twice in 58 total appearances with both goals having been scored in memorable away victories; as his first came in their first-ever EFL match in a 2-0 victory at Harrogate in August 2024 then a 3-0 win at Kent rivals, Gillingham in January 2025.
