Bromley have signed winger, Ethon Archer on a season-long loan from Luton Town.
Archer’s arrival boosts Andy Woodman’s options out wide with the 23 year-old expected to provide Corey Whitely and Mitch Pinnock extra competition for their starting spots, as fellow new signing – Jacob Mendy is thought to be playing more of a wing-back role alongside Marcus Ifill.
Archer began his career at Kinetic Academy at youth level before he went on to play for Whyteleafe, Bedfont Sports then Sutton Common Rovers where he was sent on loan to Horley Town, before he had a successful spell at Raynes Park Vale with 15 goals in 34 league appearances.
A stint at Welling United followed with a loan stint at Three Bridges where he produced two goals and four assists in 10 appearances, which led to a stint at Torquay United where he scored twice in 26 appearances to earn a move to Cheltenham in July 2024.
His time at Cheltenham saw him net eight goals in 53 appearances with a series of impressive performances in the 2024-25 season, which led Luton to sign him in September 2025, albeit with an immediate loan back to Cheltenham where he managed eight appearances before he was recalled in January.
Archer proceeded to make his debut for the Hatters in a 2-1 Round of 16 loss to Swindon Town in the EFL Trophy, although they were subsequently reinstated and won the competition after Swindon had been expelled for fielding two ineligible players.
Archer however wasn’t part of their title success after he was sent out on loan to Port Vale, where he netted three goals in 23 appearances as the Valiants suffered relegation to League Two, amidst a FA Cup run which was ended by Chelsea in the Quarter-Finals at Stamford Bridge.
