Bromley have signed goalkeeper, Shamal George on a free transfer.

George’s move to Bromley comes after his contract at Wycombe Wanderers expired on 30 June, having spent last season on loan at Scotland’s St Mirren where he made 42 appearances and starred in their shock 3-1 Scottish League Cup title triumph over Celtic in the Final.

The 28 year-old also sported Bromley’s new goalkeeper kit in his announcement video on the club’s social media channels, with the shirt sporting a pink colour scheme with a swishy pattern design.

George began his career at Liverpool where he failed to break through into the senior squad but enjoyed loan spells at Carlisle United, Tranmere Rovers and Marine, before he spent two seasons at Colchester between 2020-22 in which he kept 14 clean sheets in 50 appearances.

He went on to keep 22 clean sheets in 80 appearances at Livingston between 2022-24, before he moved to Wycombe Wanderers in summer 2024 only to make just five appearances in the 2024-25 campaign.
