Norway meet England in a mouth-watering all European Quarter-Final tie at the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
Victory would see Norway extend their longest World Cup run with a maiden semi-final appearance, whilst England are chasing a fourth appearance in the semi-finals.

David Moller Wolfe is set to be available for Norway after recovering from a knock he suffered in their 2-1 victory over Brazil in the Round of 16.
Jorgen Strand Larsen is also expected to feature following his recovery from a fever which affected him going into the win over Brazil.
England will be without Jarell Quansah after he was shown a red card in their 3-2 victory over Mexico, with the right-back now missing this match and a potential semi-final tie.
Jordan Henderson is ruled out for the remainder of the tournament after he suffered a wrist injury in their post-match celebrations.
Reece James, Marc Guehi (both hamstring), Declan Rice (illness) and Bukayo Saka (Achilles) will face late fitness checks.

Prediction
Having executed a clinical smash-and-grab victory over Brazil before conceding a consolatory injury-time penalty, Norway now will need to once again be at their sharp best because they looked dangerous on fast breakaway attacks – which probably will be their best hope to beat England’s defence.
England meanwhile would of gained a huge psychological belief after they clinically saw off Mexico, but they did have to dig in defensively after Mexico’s second goal with a series of gutsy robust defensive blocks and saves, yet this is a winnable game if they avoid making too many defensive errors.
Many players in Thomas Tuchel’s Three Lions also have faced several Norway players at club level this season which will be help in knowing how to nullify them, and especially Guehi, John Stones and Nico O’Reilly who play alongside Haaland so expect this to be more like a top-flight clash than World Cup tie.
I however do think that England will have enough quality to grind out another win.
