Bromley look to move closer towards securing automatic promotion against Shrewsbury in a League Two clash.
Victory would move Bromley seven points clear of MK Dons and Notts County, whilst Shrewsbury will stay 18th regardless of the result.
Team News
Bromley have no fresh injury concerns to report after their 2-2 draw at Barnet but manager, Andy Woodman could decide to rotate his squad, with Kyle Cameron likely to be rested following his return at The Hive after two months out with an ankle injury.
Jesse Debrah (unspecified) and Michael Cheek (hamstring) remain absent.
Shrewsbury have no fresh injury concerns to report following their 1-0 win over Tranmere.
Tom Sang (hamstring), John Marquis (knee) and Luca Hoole (ankle) remain absent.
When is Kick-Off?
Bromley host Shrewsbury at Copperjax Stadium on Tuesday 7 April at 8pm BST, live on Sky Sports Main Event and Football channels in the UK.
Stat Attack
- Bromley drew 0-0 away in their only previous EFL meeting against Shrewsbury on the opening weekend of the season.
- Shrewsbury are making their first EFL visit to Bromley.
- Bromley haven’t conceded in their last three home matches (W2, D1), in which they drew 0-0 against Oldham before they claimed 1-0 wins over Bristol Rovers and Colchester.
- Shrewsbury have won just two of their last seven matches (W2, L5).
Prediction
With other results luckily still swinging in their favour after Easter Monday’s action and with a tough final four matches to come, this does feel like an absolute must-win for Bromley because a win here would lift some of the pressure going into their next few games.
Andy Woodman’s Ravens however have to be more clinical than they were at Barnet when in control, yet their defensive play remains a concern given that they gave away a tame equaliser before a sloppy foul almost cost them the match if not for George Evans’ late equaliser to rescue them a point.
Shrewsbury meanwhile are in poor form but dominated a lacklustre Tranmere to get a deserved win amidst wasteful finishing, but I expect them to be more on the defensive at least initially here.
I however do feel that Bromley will get a comfortable result to put promotion within their grasp.
Prediction: Bromley 2-0 Shrewsbury
Result: Bromley 2-1 Shrewsbury
