Chelsea have drawn Manchester City in the semi-finals of 2025-26 Women’s FA Cup.
Goals from Sam Kerr and Veerle Buurman saw Chelsea defeat London rivals, Tottenham 2-1 to keep their title defence alive, despite Eveliina Summanen having equalised for Spurs early in the second half.
Sonia Bompastor’s Blues now will face Women’s Super League leaders, Manchester City at Kingsmeadow in the headline semi-final tie, after Khadija Shaw’s eighth-minute finish handed City a narrow win at Birmingham City.
Liverpool meanwhile will chase a fourth semi-final appearance after Zara Shaw netted a 115th-minute winner to beat Charlton 1-0 at The Valley in extra time, which sees the Reds now meet Brighton & Hove Albion in the second semi-final.
Brighton meanwhile will look to reach a maiden Women’s FA Cup Final after they caused the only cupset of the round with a 2-0 win at Arsenal, as Fran Kirby set up Madison Haley to net the Seagulls’ opener before Caitlin Hayes sealed the victory with a header from Kirby’s corner-kick.
Semi-Final ties will be played across the weekend of 9-10 May with the winners advancing to the final, which will be played on Sunday 31 May.
