Carabao Renew Sponsorship of League Cup

Carabao have renewed their sponsorship of the Men’s League Cup until the end of 2028-29 season.

The Thai energy drink company’s current sponsorship was set to expire at the conclusion of 2026-27 season,  but they have now agreed a two-year contract extension until the end of 2028-29 season, having first become the title sponsor for 2017-18 edition of the competition.

Carabao Group CEO, Sathien Sathientham is “extremely delighted” that the company is extending their “proud” sponsorship of the competition and partnership with the EFL.

“This continued partnership reflects our deep commitment to the competition, to the EFL, and to football fans around the world.

“Being part of the competition’s journey for so many years is something we are incredibly proud of, and we look forward to supporting its growth and success for many seasons to come.”

EFL Chief Executive Officer, Trevor Birch is “delighted” with the renewal of Carabao’s sponsorship which will mark the longest sponsorship in the competition of 12 years come the end of 2028-29 season.

“The Carabao Cup occupies a special place in our game, bringing people together and creating moments that live long in the memory.

“Carabao have been an outstanding partner throughout, and this renewal underlines a shared commitment to help the competition continue to flourish.
