Bromley have secured four nominations for the 2026 London Football Awards on 5 March 2026.
Michael Cheek has been nominated in the EFL Player of the Year category after he enjoyed another successful season with 14 goals and three assists in 30 league appearances.
He however faces competition from teammate, Mitch Pinnock who too has been nominated in that category, after he produced nine assists in 32 appearances across all competitions in his first season back at the Copperjax Stadium following a decade away,
Cheek and Pinnock however are up against Leyton Orient’s Dom Ballard plus Millwall duo, Femi Azeez and Tristian Crama for the gong.
Andy Woodman meanwhile is up for Manager of the Year after he led the Ravens to the summit of League Two in only their second season in the EFL, in which they’re yet to suffer a league defeat at home this season and reached the second round of the Carabao Cup for the first time where they lost to Wycombe on penalties.
Brentford’s Keith Andrews, Arsenal’s Mikel Arteta and Millwall boss, Alex Neil are the other men’s club managerial nominees in that category, which is rounded out by Tottenham Hotspur Women manager – Martin Ho.
Renee Slegers consequently missed out despite having led Arsenal to the inaugural FIFA Women’s Champions Cup, having beaten Brazil’s Corinthians 2-1 after extra-time in the final which was hosted at their home venue – Emirates Stadium.
Grant Smith meanwhile is nominated for Goalkeeper of the Year following his stunning shot-stopping exploits to help Bromley challenge for promotion to League One.
Smith however is up against tough competition with Arsenal’s David Raya considered the favourite ahead of Caomhin Kelleher and Bernd Leno, whilst Tottenham’s Lize Kop is the sole female representative in the category.
