Stevenage meet Bradford in a massive top of Sky Bet League One showdown.
Should Cardiff fail to win elsewhere, victory would see Stevenage return to the summit of the table.
Bradford meanwhile will go top if Cardiff lose otherwise they will leapfrog Stevenage into second with a win.
Team News
Stevenage have no fresh injury concerns to report after their Vertu Trophy win over Crystal Palace in midweek.
Bradford will be without Alex Pattison after he suffered an Achilles injury in their 2-2 draw against Barnsley.
Bobby Pointon (shoulder), Curtis Tilt (hamstring) and Aden Baldwin (calf) remain absent, but Matthew Pennington (concussion) could return.
When is Kick-Off?
Stevenage host Bradford at Lamex Stadium on Saturday 25 October at 3pm BST, untelevised live in the UK.
Stat Attack
- Stevenage are winless in their last eight meetings against Bradford (D1, L7).
- Bradford are unbeaten in their last five trips to Stevenage (W3, D2).
- Stevenage have lost two of their last four home games against Bradford by 1-0 results.
- Jordan Roberts has scored in Stevenage’s last two league matches at home (W2).
- Antoni Sarcevic has scored in Bradford’s last two away league games (W1, D1).
Prediction
Unbeaten at home this season during which they conceded just one league goal on their own turf, Stevenage can come into this game full of confidence after a clinical Vertu Trophy display against Palace.
Bradford meanwhile don’t really do clean sheets on the road but to lose Pattison for this clash is a big blow given that they’re already without Pointon, but they do certainly have goals within them as evidenced by a pair of 2-2 draws in their last two games.
If we know anything for certain, it is that this game could be very cagey because top spot could be at stake if Cardiff don’t win elsewhere, but I do think that Stevenage’s confidence and home form might just make a difference for the hosts.
Prediction: Stevenage 2-1 Bradford
Result: Stevenage 1-1 Bradford
