Eintracht Frankfurt host a free-falling Liverpool in a massive league phase clash in 2025-26 UEFA Champions League.
Locked on three points apiece, victory could lift either Eintracht Frankfurt or Liverpool into the top eight in the table depending on results elsewhere.

Liverpool will be without Ryan Gravenberch after he suffered an ankle injury during their 2-1 Premier League loss to Manchester United.

- Eintracht Frankfurt are yet to score against Liverpool in all UEFA competitions.
- Both of Frankfurt’s last two league phase fixtures ended in 5-1 results – of which they beat Galatasaray at home then lost away to Atletico Madrid, with Jonathan Burkardt having scored in both matches.
- Liverpool have lost their last two away league phase fixtures (L2), as they lost 3-2 to PSV in January then 1-0 at Galatasaray earlier this month.
Prediction
Since returning from the first international break of the season, Eintracht Frankfurt haven’t been consistent results wise but there is no doubting their ability to score goals, yet their defence is just leaky which has to be a huge worry.
Wasteful finishing summed up Liverpool’s loss to Man Utd because they simply didn’t take their chances with a lot of rushed finishing and little composure, although their marking for Utd’s two goals were just awful and four straight defeats have to be worrying for Arne Slot.
If there is one guarantee then it is that this shouldn’t finish goalless given the defensive fragilities within both teams but if Liverpool can find some luck in their end product, they should nick this but this won’t be pretty for anyone expecting a smooth watch.
Prediction: Eintracht Frankfurt 2-3 Liverpool
Result: Eintracht Frankfurt 1-5 Liverpool
