Wrexham meet Birmingham City in the Hollywood derby as both teams look to boost their promotion ambitions.
Victory will see Wrexham climb to 10th in the table, whilst Birmingham seek to move up to fifth with a win.

Josh Windass is a doubt for Wrexham after he suffered an ankle injury during their 1-1 draw at Leicester.

Birmingham will welcome Jack Robinson back after he was suspended for their 2-2 draw against Sheffield Wednesday.
Bright Osayi-Samuel and Jay Stansfield (both foot) face late fitness checks, whilst Keshi Anderson (unspecified) could feature if fit.
Ethan Laird (hamstring), Marvin Ducksh (leg), Willum Willumsson (unspecified), Lee Buchanan and Scott Wright (both knee) remain absent.
When is Kick-Off?
Wrexham host Birmingham at the STOK Racecourse Ground on Friday 3 October at 8pm BST, live on Sky Sports Football in the UK.
Stat Attack
- Wrexham have won just one of six previous league meetings against Birmingham (W1, D2, L3).
- Birmingham are yet to win away to Wrexham in a league meeting (D2, L1).
- Wrexham have kept just one clean sheet in five previous home games against Birmingham in all competitions (W1, D2, L2), which came in a 1-0 win in the first league meeting between the pair in Wales in October 1979.
- Two of Lewis O’Brien’s three league goals for Wrexham this season were scored at home.
- Birmingham have failed to score in their last three away games in the Championship (L3), during which they conceded six goals.
Prediction
Having settled in with one defeat in their last six league matches, Wrexham will feel that this is their chance to properly lay down a marker in their bid to push for promotion – especially after a resilient display at Leicester where they defended well and clinically struck late for a deserved point.
Birmingham meanwhile have hit a rut on the road with three successive defeats without scoring and only their home form really kept them higher up the table, but this is a chance for them to show that they should be the promoted club challenging for another promotion.
Chris Davies’ Blues though need to take heart from their fightback against Sheffield Wednesday on Tuesday after they snatched a point from 2-1 down, but I do think that Wrexham will prove too strong with their defensive grit but both teams will be good for a point apiece.
Prediction: Wrexham 1-1 Birmingham
Result: Wrexham 1-1 Birmingham
