Chelsea will kick off the 2025-26 Women’s Super League season with a blockbuster fixture against Manchester City.
The blockbuster season-opener between Chelsea and Man City will take place on Friday 5 September at Stamford Bridge in a 7:30pm BST kick-off, live on Sky Sports who will have live coverage of the majority of matches from this season under a new broadcasting contract.
Sky will also have four further games on the opening weekend which simultaneously kick off at 12pm on Sunday 7 September, including the Merseyside derby between Liverpool and Everton at Anfield whilst Tottenham meet West Ham in the first London derby of the season.
BBC will kick off their share of live coverage on Saturday 6 September live from Emirates Stadium as UEFA Women’s Champions League champions, Arsenal host newly-promoted London City Lionesses.

WSL will take its traditional Xmas break after matchweek 11 on weekend of 13-14 December, which sees both Manchester clubs at home as City face Villa whilst United meet Tottenham.

The season then recommences on weekend of 10-11 January 2026, with a blockbuster clash in North London between two potential title contenders as Arsenal host Man Utd at the Emirates Stadium.
Chelsea meanwhile will face a London derby at home to West Ham at Kingsmeadow as the reigning champions seek to start 2026 with a victory on their own turf.

WSL will wrap up the season on the weekend of 16-17 May with two heavyweight clashes as Chelsea entertain Man Utd at Stamford Bridge, whilst Arsenal head to Liverpool at Anfield.
London City Lionesses will end their maiden WSL season at home to Aston Villa at the Copperjax Stadium.

Elsewhere, Arsenal will meet Tottenham at Brisbane Road in the first North London derby of the season on 16 November, before the reverse fixture is scheduled for 29 March provisionally.
Man City and Utd will meet in the Manchester derby on the exact same matchweeks as the North London derby, with City hosting the first fixture at the Etihad Stadium on 16 November before United host the reverse fixture at Old Trafford on 29 March.
Everton will host Liverpool at their now permanent home of Goodison Park on 29 March after the men’s team vacated the stadium at the end of last season.
