2024-25 Premier League: Week 27 – Wolves vs Fulham

Wolves continue their fight for Premier League survival with a tricky clash against Fulham at Molineux.

Wolves will stay 17th regardless of the result but a win will move them eight points clear of the drop, whilst Fulham can move up to eighth if Aston Villa and Brighton both lose elsewhere.

Team News

Wolves have no fresh injury concerns following their 1-0 win away at Bournemouth.

Emmanuel Agbadou, Hee-Chan Hwang (both hamstring), Rodrigo Gomes (unspecified), Goncalo Guedes, Yerson Mosquera (both knee), Leon Chiwone, Sasa Kalajdzic and Enso Gonzalez (all ACL) remain sidelined.

Fulham could be without Emile Smith Rowe after he suffered a minor ankle injury in their defeat at home to Crystal Palace.

Tom Cairney (knock) also is a doubt but Harry Wilson (metatarsal), Kenny Tete (shin) and Reiss Nelson (hamstring) remain absent.

When is Kick-Off?

Wolves host Fulham at Molineux on Tuesday 25 February at 7:30pm GMT, live on TNT Sports 4 in the UK.

Stat Attack

  • Wolves have lost one of their last nine meetings against Fulham (W5, D3, L1).
  • Fulham are winless in their last 15 league visits to Wolves (D4, L11).
  • Wolves have won two of their last four home matches against Fulham by 1-0 results.
  • Wolves are winless at home to London-based opposition this season (D1, L2).
  • Fulham have scored twice in each of their three away games in the league in 2025 (W2, L1).

Prediction

Despite taking two wins and defeats apiece from their last four league matches, Wolves’ performances certainly seem to have turned the corner which was evident by a confidently clinical yet resilient defensive display in their victory at Bournemouth – which has to be a positive platform to build upon here.

Fulham though will be eager to bounce back after an uncharacteristically lacklustre effort in their home loss to Crystal Palace, where small sloppy defensive errors cost them amidst a disappointing attacking effort so a huge reaction is needed after they missed a chance to move to within two points of the top four.

Marco Silva’s Cottagers however will be aware of how unkind Molineux has been to them in their last 15 league visits but if they bring more fighting spirit, they should at least take a point here.

Prediction: Wolves 1-1 Fulham

Result: Wolves 1-2 Fulham
