Yoane Wissa and Christian Norgaard struck late to rescue Brentford a 2-2 draw at home to Manchester City.
Yoane Wissa became Brentford’s top Premier League goalscorer as he kick-started the Bees’ comeback with a 82nd minute close-range strike.
Norgaard completed the Bees’ comeback with a 92nd minute header into the near-right corner from Keane Lewis-Potter’s cross.
Phil Foden had broken the deadlock with a 66th minute flicked finish before he rifled in a 78th minute rebound strike to double City’s lead.
Brentford now sit tenth in the Premier League table, whilst City stay sixth.

Following their shock FA Cup third-round exit to Plymouth last weekend, Brentford were back to full-strength which nearly paid off in the sixth minute but Wissa fired wide from Mathias Jensen’s pass.
Josko Gvardiol attempted to punish Wissa’s wasted chance just two minutes later but missed himself as the game quickly began to become end-to-end, during which Bryan Mbeumo forced a 15th minute save from Stefan Ortega at the right post after he cut in from the right flank.
City however went closest to the first goal in the 23rd minute as Kevin De Bruyne whipped in a cross from the left flank, yet Erling Haaland thumped his header wide at the far-right post.
Savinho and Mateo Kovacic soon saw chances go wide for City as the reigning champions began to get on top of Thomas Frank’s Bees, albeit without a clear-cut end product as evidenced in the 38th minute through Haaland’s saved shot from De Bruyne’s through-ball pass.
Neither team found a breakthrough before half-time but Brentford continued to waste opportunities early in the second-half as Nathan Collins nodded wide from a free-kick, whilst Mbeumo and Vitaly Janelt saw chances denied.
City though weren’t much better as Savinho rifled over the bar whilst Manuel Akanji nodded wide, but Gvardiol spared City’s blushes in the 64th minute with a well-timed block on Wissa’s shot.
That block proved key as City broke forward two minutes later as De Bruyne picked up a pass on the right and whipped a cross into the box, which Foden calmly flicked in off the left-post to put the Cityzens in front.
Brentford nevertheless continued to push to produce an equaliser but Wissa saw two chances go begging in frustrating scenes for the Bees, who have scored in all but two home games in all competitions this season.
Foden soon added further misery as he smashed in his second goal into the far-right corner on the rebound after Savinho’s initial 78th minute shot is blocked by Mark Flekken.
Brentford however set up a grandstand finish four minutes later through Wissa’s close-range strike from Mads Roerslev’s cutback volley, which meant that Wissa became the Bees’ all-time top Premier League goalscorer with 37 goals.
Man City almost sealed the win three minutes later as Savinho broke forward but Flekken blocked his shot.
Brentford nevertheless refused to break up and got their equaliser in the second minute of injury time as Norgaard nodded in from Keane Lewis-Potter’s cross.
Nathan Ake ultimately made a crucial 94th minute block to deny Mbeumo as City hung on for a point.
