Sheffield United meet Burnley in a blockbuster Boxing Day clash in the Championship.
Victory or a draw will see Sheffield Utd stay top of the table, whilst Burnley can climb to second and within one point of the Blades before Leeds play in the evening.

Stat Attack
- Sheffield Utd have won two of their last five meetings against Burnley (W2, L3).
- Burnley have won one of their last five trips to Sheffield Utd (W1, D1, L3).
- This is the first clash between Sheffield Utd and Burnley to be played on Boxing Day.

- Josh Brownhill has scored in each of Burnley’s last two away games (W2).
Prediction
Patience and clinical end product proved key to Sheffield Utd’s clinical win at Cardiff especially after digging deep defensively, but they will need more of that there against much tougher opposition.
Burnley though know that a win here will keep them firmly in the automatic promotion mix, but they need to start like they did against Watford yet show patience to break the Blades’ resilient home defence down.
Given that only four points separate both teams coming into this game and what is at stake, I seriously expect a close game with a draw being a respectable outcome.
Prediction: Sheffield Utd 1-1 Burnley
Result: Sheffield Utd 0-2 Burnley
