Trident have signed Noah Strømsted for the 2025 F3 season.

Strømsted currently lies sixth in FRECA with four second-placed podium finishes this season, heading into the season finale.

The 17 year-old Dane also raced for Campos in the F3 season finale at Monza, where he finished 17th and 23rd respectively, but will now step up full-time in 2025 as he joins Trident.

With his move now confirmed, a “very happy” Strømsted is pleased to secure a seat at Trident, with the team having taken Gabriel Bortoleto and Leonardo Fornaroli to the title in the last two seasons.

“Their success the past years speaks for itself, I will work very hard to be competitive since the beginning of the season and help the team as much as possible with the development of the new car.

“I would like to thank Trident for their trust and giving me this opportunity, and of course my sponsors, family, coach and management for making this happen!”

Trident Team Principal, Giacomo Ricci is “extremely happy” to welcome Strømsted to the team, following a mixture of test and simulator work which produced “excellent feedback.”

Ricci proceeded to praise the 17 year-old for his maturity and potential as he added: “Despite being a very young driver, he is already very mature from our point of view. Noah was the best rookie of FRECA in 2024.

“He is a young guy, with great potential and with a great margin for growth.”

Strømsted will partner Charlie Wurz plus a third unannounced driver at Trident.
