BBC will broadcast England’s Quarter-Final showdown against Switzerland, as UK TV picks for Euro 2024 Quarter-Finals are announced.

Gareth Southgate’s Three Lions scraped past Slovakia in extra-time in the Round of 16, and will now meet Switzerland – who eliminated defending champions, Italy, in the Quarter-Finals on Saturday 6 July in Dusseldorf, at 6pm CEST (5pm UK Time).

That tie will be shown live on BBC One for UK-based fans with build-up underway from 4pm GMT, with BBC having held the first pick for this stage.

BBC also had third pick and selected Portugal’s primetime blockbuster tie against France in a rematch of UEFA Euro 2016 Final – won by the Portuguese on French turf, with that match taking place in Hamburg, on Friday 5 July at 9pm CEST (8pm UK Time).

Portugal overcame Slovenia on penalties in their Round of 16 tie, whilst France got lucky with a Jan Vertonghen own-goal to scrape past Belgium.

ITV held second and fourth picks in this round with the British broadcaster having opted for the opening tie of the round between Spain and tournament hosts, Germany with the second pick, which takes place in Stuttgart on Friday 5 July at 6pm CEST (5pm UK Time) on ITV1.

Spain came from behind to cruise past Georgia to reach this stage, whilst Germany clinically beat Denmark amidst a rain delay in their Round of 16 clash.

With the fourth and last pick, ITV automatically were left with the concluding Quarter-Final between Netherlands and Turkey in Berlin on Saturday 6 July, with kick-off scheduled for 9pm CEST (8pm UK Time).

Netherlands comfortably dispatched Romania to secure their spot in the last eight, whilst Turkey survived a late scare to edge past Austria.
