Germany Name Euro 2024 Squad

Kai Havertz and Pascal Gross are the only two Premier League players named in Germany squad for UEFA Euro 2024. 

Havertz’s call-up comes after he scored 13 goals in 50 appearances for Arsenal this season as the Gunners took the domestic title fight to the final day on 19 May against Manchester City.

Pascal Gross meanwhile has been called up after a strong campaign for the midfielder who has provided five goals and 13 assists in all competitions for Brighton this season.

Gross’ Brighton teammate, Deniz Undav has also received a call-up after he managed to score 19 goals whilst on loan at VfB Stuttgart, following a decision by the Seagulls to send him out for more game time to maximise his chances of earning a place in the squad for the Euros.

Bayern Munich has seen six of their players called up for the squad including ex England youth international, Jamal Musiala.

Manuel Neuer, Joshua Kimmich, Aleksandar Pavlovic, Leroy Sane and Thomas Muller are the other Bayern players selected for the squad.

Bundesliga champions, Bayer Leverkusen will have three representatives with Jonathan Tah, Robert Andrich and Florian Wirtz all named in the squad.

Julian Nagelsmann’s team will meet up on 26 May in Blankenhain to commence pre-tournament preparations, before moving into their team base camp on 31 May ahead of warm-up friendlies against Ukraine and Greece on 3 and 7 June respectively.

As tournament hosts, Germany will entertain Scotland in the opening match in Munich on 14 June before facing Hungary in Stuttgart on 19 June, ahead of their final group match against Switzerland on in Frankfurt on 23 June.
