Brighton & Hove Albion have drawn Manchester United in the headline tie of 2023-24 Women’s FA Cup Quarter-Finals.
Brighton’s clash against Man Utd comes just under a year since they met in the semi-finals of last season’s competition, which Marc Skinner’s Red Devils won 3-2 in a dramatic thriller at Leigh Sports Village en-route to finishing as runners-up to Chelsea in the Final.
Reigning champions, Chelsea look to win a fourth consecutive Women’s FA Cup title in Emma Hayes’ final season in charge, as the Blues head to Everton in a tough-looking tie after the Toffees thrashed Nottingham Forest in the Fifth Round.
Manchester City look to claim successive North London scalps after they were drawn away to Tottenham Hotspur, having already eliminated Arsenal in a close encounter amidst a controversial disallowed own-goal for the Gunners.
Gareth Taylor’s Cityzens also have already won away at Tottenham this season at this stage, albeit in the League Cup so will be looking to achieve a Quarter-Final double over Spurs in both cup competitions.
Matt Beard’s Liverpool will host Leicester City as the Reds chase a first semi-final appearance since 2017, whilst Willie Kirk’s Foxes seek a first semi-final appearance as a Women’s Super League club.
All four Quarter-Final ties will be played on the weekend of 9-10 March, with one fixture selected for live broadcast on BBC.
