Lukas Lerager is suspended for Copenhagen after he was sent off in their win over Galatasaray in their final group match.

Birger Meling (muscle) is a doubt for selection but Davit Khocholava and Theo Sander are both ruled out with knee injuries.

Man City have no fresh injury concerns to report after their Premier League win against Everton.

When is Kick-Off?

Copenhagen face Man City at Parken Stadium on Tuesday 13 February at 9pm CET (8pm GMT), live on TNT Sports 1 in the UK.

Stat Attack

  • Copenhagen are winless in two previous Champions League meetings against Man City (D1, L1).
  • Man City drew 0-0 in their only previous Champions League trip to Copenhagen in October 2022.
  • Copenhagen are yet to score against Man City in the Champions League.
  • Lukas Lerager scored in all three of Copenhagen’s home matches in the group stage (W2, L1).
  • Man City have kept no clean sheets in their last six away matches in the Champions League – excluding last season’s final on neutral territory (W3, D3).

Prediction

Although it has been two months since Copenhagen played a proper competitve fixture, they have certainly kept themselves busy with friendlies but they now must knuckle down defensively after keeping one clean sheet in those five friendlies.

Man City meanwhile absolutely dominated Everton with a robust defensive performance but their attack did seem to lack end product at times, until Erling Haaland found the breakthrough goals which shows that City can be frustrated if Copenhagen nail their defensive tactics.

We also shouldn’t forget that Copenhagen held City here last season during the group stages and are currently in decent goalscoring form at home, so should certainly make a tough scrp even without Lerager but City this time should just have too much for them.

Prediction: Copenhagen 1-2 Manchester City

Result: Copenhagen 1-3 Manchester City
